Ozone Applications

Ozone therapy is known to be an effective treatment method that has been scientifically proven by hundreds of studies. Ozone, which the Germans call “blood washing”, is preferred and applied by physicians in many diseases in our country.

The most important feature of ozone therapy is that it can be applied by various methods specific to the patient and the disease. One or more of these applications is determined by the physician according to the patient’s complaint. The most preferred major method is applied to maintain well-being and support the immune system, even without being sick.

Ozone Therapy Methods:

Major Ozone ( IV application from blood )
Minor Ozone ( Intramuscular administration )
Subcutaneous (application under the skin)
Rectal-Vaginal-Ear Ozone (Application to body cavities)
Local Ozone (Intra-joint application)
Bag Ozone (Application of the damaged area by bagging it)
Ozone Sauna (Application in sauna cabin)

Major Method

In this most preferred method, 100 cc of blood is taken from the person into a sterile vacuum ozone bottle, and the ozone gas drawn from the ozone generator is injected into the blood at a dose determined by the physician. Ozonated blood is given back to the person through the same vascular access. Thus, by ozonating the blood, the oxygenation of cells and tissues is increased and a positive effect is achieved on the entire body system, creating a felt vitality. Generally, the application is completed as a cure of 7 to 15 sessions, 2 days a week. It is recommended to continue one session a month throughout the year for a reminder dose for the immune system, protection from diseases and staying fit.

The major method is widely used to strengthen immunity and treat chronic diseases, as well as to protect against diseases and increase body resistance.

Minor Method

2.5 cc of blood taken from the person is mixed with a determined dose of ozone and injected into the muscle. The minor method has a positive effect on the immune system when applied every 3 sessions in people who generally receive a major ozone cure.

subcutaneous

Ozone gas at a specified dose and volume is injected under the skin with a fine-tipped needle. The subcutaneous method, which is applied as a kind of mesotherapy method, is generally preferred for pain complaints.

Injection of ozone gas into body cavities

Ozone is administered by spraying into the rectal (anus), vaginal and ear canal. Since rectal ozone is absorbed directly from the intestine, it is important for the intestinal flora. It is used successfully in cases such as allergic problems thought to be of intestinal origin, asthma, rheumatic diseases, degenerative nervous system diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s) and chronic constipation.

Vaginal ozone application is a preferred method in gynecological diseases. Intra-ear application method is one of the ozone methods that can be applied in hearing loss and tinnitus.

Local and intra-joint ozone gas delivery

In case of joint disorders, a certain dose of ozone gas is administered into the joint with a suitable needle. By applying it this way; It provides positive effects such as reducing pain, eliminating movement limitation, and increasing joint range of motion in diseases such as arthritis, cartilage damage, and fluid loss in joints such as knees and shoulders. It is also used in tendonitis, golfer’s and tennis elbow and soft tissue rheumatism. Care should be taken to carry out the procedure in a clinical environment with a sterile and disposable syringe in view of the risk of infection.

Bagging Ozone

It is a method applied by administering high doses of ozone gas into a special bag in skin diseases such as wounds, burns, gangrene, diabetes-related circulatory disorders, fungus, psoriasis and eczema of the limbs such as hands, feet, arms and legs. Bagging ozone therapy, which is completed in approximately 30/45 minutes, is very successful especially in wound treatments and skin diseases.

Ozone sauna applications

It is a method of delivering ozone to the whole body below the neck in a low dose heated cabin. The method of delivering ozone through the skin in the cabin where the head remains outside has the feature of relieving fatigue and stress, tightening the skin in cellulite, losing weight thanks to the calories given through sweat, removing toxins, regulating the digestive and circulatory system and treating skin diseases. There are publications stating that ozone, which is absorbed through the skin pores opened by the effect of heat and passes into the body’s blood, lymph and fat tissue, helps lose weight by accelerating the metabolism.

With an ozone sauna, ozone gas reaches 4 to 6 centimeters below the skin. It provides more sweating than the classic steam sauna. It is absorbed through the skin pores opened by ozone gas and passes into the body’s blood, lymph and fat tissue. It purifies the lymphatic system from toxins, cleanses the skin, relaxes the muscles, accelerates blood circulation, and kills bacteria, viruses and fungi. Ozone sauna, which allows relaxation and stress relief by sitting and watching TV and listening to music, without tiring the person, with 15-30 minute sessions 2-3 times a week, is a method that has been in the steam, Turkish bath and spa tradition for many years.

Ozonated products

Botolinum toxin is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum and related species. It causes soft paralysis by preventing the release of the acetylcholine neurotransmitter from axon endings. Infection with this bacterium causes botulism disease.

Mesotherapy is the technique of applying vitamins, minerals, amino acids or enzymes alone or usually as a mixture to the middle layer of the skin by microinjection. The substances to be injected are selected according to the person and the person’s wishes. Mesotherapy can be used for skin tightening, lifting, anti-aging, blemish treatment and scar treatment in the facial area.

Bichectomy, one of the aesthetic operations frequently used by those who want to achieve an ideal facial appearance, is performed to make facial lines proportionate. In some cases, even if the person is at the ideal weight, he or she may appear overweight due to the amount of fat in the existing facial structure. The fat tissue located in the middle area of the cheeks is called buccal fat tissue. This fatty tissue, located between the facial muscles, is anatomically located in the lower region of the cheekbones and is thought to contribute to sucking functions in babies. The size of this fatty tissue is one of the main factors affecting the size of the face. With aging, buccal fat tissue generally tends to decrease.

We often use fillers called hyaluronic acid in the face area, especially on the lips. Hyaluronic acid is actually a building block found in our body that has water retention properties. When this substance is depleted in the skin and subcutaneous tissue under the influence of age and environmental factors, it causes some changes that manifest themselves as volume loss. To put it simply, with filler injections, we aim to increase the amount of this water-retaining molecule in our body.
